First 10 Minutes
- Move away from immediate danger: fire, damaged buildings, violence, floodwater, downed power lines, gas leaks, or traffic hazards.
- Check yourself and the people with you for serious injuries. Call emergency services if they are operating and needed.
- Keep children and vulnerable people with a trusted adult.
- Do not rush toward crowds or dangerous areas just to find answers.
- Use several reliable sources to learn what actually happened. Expect rumors and fake information during a crisis.
Start With Jesus
A crisis can make prophecy feel urgent, but salvation is more important than solving a timeline. The Gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Salvation is God's gift, not something earned by good works (Ephesians 2:8-9). Romans 10:13 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Survival Priorities
1. Safety & Shelter
Get out of immediate danger. Choose a structurally safe place appropriate for the hazard. Follow official evacuation or shelter instructions when available.
2. Safe Water
Use bottled water when possible. If water may contain germs, boiling is the preferred treatment: bring clear water to a rolling boil for 1 minute, or 3 minutes above 6,500 feet. Let it cool and store it in a clean covered container.
Warning: boiling or ordinary disinfection does not make water contaminated with fuel, toxic chemicals, or radioactive material safe.
3. Medicine & First Aid
Keep essential medicines, medical-device supplies, written medication lists, allergies, and emergency contacts together. Serious bleeding, breathing trouble, chest pain, severe burns, poisoning, major trauma, or altered consciousness need professional emergency care when available.
4. Sanitation
Use safe water for drinking and food. Wash hands often. Keep human waste away from water and food. Use garbage bags and ties if normal waste systems fail, following local public-health instructions where available.
5. Food
Use shelf-stable food first when refrigeration is uncertain. During a power outage, keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible. When food safety is doubtful, discard it rather than risk serious illness.
6. Power & Fire Safety
Use flashlights or battery lights. Never run generators, grills, or fuel-burning camp equipment inside a home, garage, or other enclosed area. Carbon monoxide can kill without warning.
7. Communication
Keep a battery or hand-crank radio if possible. Write important phone numbers and meeting places on paper. Conserve phone power and use text messages when networks are overloaded.
8. Vulnerable People
Make specific plans for babies, children, older adults, disabilities, mobility needs, medical equipment, sensory needs, and pets. Never assume another person has already checked on them.
Water: Remember This
For advance storage, CDC recommends at least 1 gallon of water per person per day for at least 3 days, with more when possible and additional needs for illness, pregnancy, heat, and pets.
Do Not Do These Things
- Do not drink questionable water simply because it looks clear.
- Do not use a generator, charcoal grill, or fuel-burning stove indoors.
- Do not eat food that has become unsafe because of loss of refrigeration.
- Do not mix cleaning chemicals unless the product directions specifically say to do so.
- Do not post your exact location, passwords, valuable supplies, or vulnerable people's information publicly.
- Do not make medical decisions from anonymous social-media posts when qualified care or authoritative guidance is available.
- Do not let fear push you into following someone who claims to be Christ. Compare spiritual claims with Scripture.
Biblical Warning During the Tribulation
In the futurist Christian interpretation used by this site, Revelation warns about the Beast, the False Prophet, deception, worship, and the mark (Revelation 13-14). The Bible's warning is spiritual allegiance—not a reason to label every new technology, payment system, ID, vaccine, or political leader as the mark without the surrounding biblical signs.
Build an Offline Library
Keep these where you can reach them without internet:
- A printed Bible.
- The main Millions Missing? guide.
- This emergency guide.
- Paper copies of medication lists, emergency contacts, important addresses, and family meeting plans.
- Offline copies on more than one USB drive or device.
What This Guide Can and Cannot Tell You
This site presents a Christian pre-Tribulation interpretation, but it does not set a Rapture date and does not claim every crisis is a fulfillment of Revelation. Verify events carefully. Scripture is the authority for the biblical claims; emergency agencies and qualified professionals should guide technical safety and medical decisions when available.
Emergency guidance summarized from U.S. CDC and FEMA/Ready.gov preparedness guidance. Technical recommendations can change; follow current local authorities when they are available.
