Bible Prophecy — Revelation and What Comes Next

Bible prophecy can feel overwhelming. This material is not here to create panic or pressure you into a decision. Read the passages carefully, ask questions, and remember that the central message is that God remains in control and Jesus offers hope, forgiveness, and life with God forever.

A simple guide to Revelation, Daniel, the Tribulation, deception, the Beast, and remaining faithful to Jesus.

How Can I Avoid Deception During the Tribulation?

Jesus begins His end-times teaching with the warning, “Take heed that no man deceive you” (Matthew 24:4). Matthew 24:24 warns of false Christs and false prophets. Second Thessalonians 2:8–12 and Revelation 13 also warn about powerful deception.

Revelation 13 describes a powerful ruler called the Beast and another figure often called the False Prophet. Revelation 13 also describes a mark connected with buying and selling. Revelation 14:9–12 connects the mark with worship and loyalty to the Beast.

Important: The Bible does not present the mark as an accidental mistake. Do not label every new technology, digital payment system, ID, or political leader as the Beast or the mark without the surrounding Bible signs.

What Do Daniel and Revelation Say? — A Simple Guide

Daniel 2: a succession of earthly kingdoms and God's final kingdom. Daniel 7: kingdoms pictured as beasts and the coming reign of the Son of Man. Daniel 8: visions involving later kingdoms and a ruler who foreshadows themes seen again in end-times Bible prophecy. Daniel 9: the seventy weeks Bible prophecy. Daniel 10–12: spiritual conflict, a time of unprecedented trouble, rising from the dead, and the 1,290- and 1,335-day references.

Revelation 1–3: Jesus and the churches. 4–5: God's throne and the Lamb. 6–8: seals. 8–11: trumpets and two witnesses. 12–14: dragon, Beast, False Prophet, being hurt or punished for following Jesus, mark, and perseverance. 15–16: bowls. 17–18: Babylon. 19: Christ's visible return. 20: millennium, final rebellion and judgment. 21–22: new heaven, new earth, New Jerusalem, and eternal restoration.

As you read Daniel and Revelation, keep your Bible open and take your time. This guide follows a before-the-Tribulation, futurist, premillennial understanding. Christians do not agree on every detail of Bible prophecy, so let Scripture be your foundation. No date for the Rapture is being set here.
