I may never have known your name or your story, but I prayed for every person who would one day find and read these words. I prayed for you.
I prayed that God would help you understand what has happened, protect you, give you good judgment, comfort you when you are afraid, and most of all help you come to know how deeply Jesus Christ loves you.
Please read this as a letter from someone who cared enough about you to leave behind everything I could that might help. You may be scared, angry, confused, hurting after a loss, or simply unsure what to believe. You do not have to understand everything today. Start with Jesus and take one step at a time.
My greatest hope is not simply that this guide helps you through hard days. My greatest hope is that you put your faith in Jesus Christ and that, by God's grace, I will someday get to meet you in Heaven.
If that day comes, I hope you will find me and tell me that you read this. What a wonderful meeting that would be.
You have been prayed for. You are loved. And there is still hope.

Before you close this guide, I want you to remember something very personal: someone prayed for you before you ever opened this page.
I prayed for every person who might someday read these words. I prayed that God would protect you, give you understanding, help you know what is true, comfort you in sadness after loss, and lead you to Jesus Christ.
I do not know where you are as you read this, what you have been through, or what tomorrow will bring. But I know what I hope for you.
I hope to meet you in Heaven one day.
And if we do meet there, none of the fear or trouble that brought you to this guide will matter anymore. We will be with Jesus.
Until then, keep going. Read His Word. Talk to Jesus honestly. Ask Him for good judgment. Take care of the people around you. And when you are frightened, remember that you were prayed for long before you found this page.
